Information Security

We understand and appreciate the concerns one would have when crucial work of product testing and its associated knowledge is transferred to offshore team. Considering the fact that information and data security is of prime importance in offshore development model, we have devised robust information and data security policies. This includes both physical and data security.

We are equipped with a robust, flexible and scalable internal IT infrastructure with high standard quality controls making our Ahmedabad ODC secure and connected.

Intellectual Property Rights

We understand clients concerns regarding Physical, Material and Data security and we are open to draw upon an intellectual property rights agreement.

In a decade of our existence, we have provided our development; validation testing and maintenance support to several product companies and tool vendors and protection of intellectual property is obviously a key consideration for these vendors. We can provide strong references in this area that helps in raising client’s confidence in our IPR protection in this area.

To protect client’s intellectual property, we also have an established practice of signing Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA) with our clients and reciprocal NDA with each of our employees.

Non-Disclosure Agreements

Company NDA:

We ensure very high-level protection of the data received from our Customers while executing their orders. We will sign the NDA with the client in a mutually agreed format.

Employee NDA:

Gateway requires each of its employees to sign a very strict contract, preventing disclosure of any information.

Network Security

Network security protects against unauthorized access to all IT resources within our offshore development center through access control, authentication and accounting. We have well defined network access policies that outline the access rules for our network. Our internal network is made immune to attacks by deploying firewalls between the intranet and the dedicated high-speed link to the internet. All entry points are firewall protected.

We have a dedicated team of qualified and certified networking engineers who are accountable for defining, implementing and improving upon the network security policies. Our development facility is protected by anti-virus and anti-intrusion systems to ensure a safeguard against the virus attacks and intrusions. We also have a secured network access via VPN connections to the authorized employees and clients.

We have also implemented NetIntelligence for content filtering and controlling the incoming and outgoing data. All the internet/communication access to team members is controlled by NetIntelligence.

We follow a two layer network security – the first layer being a set of server/device specific policies and tools for network management and second layer being the machine level security using tools like NetIntelligence, Safeboot and antivirus systems like Norton and Kaspersky.

We manage our network assets using a combination of asset management applications and manual audits of infrastructure to ensure optimized usage of network and hardware resources.
